Four Poster Fantasy
This month we are focusing on our bestselling Chalfont Four Poster bed.
‘ I first spotted some simple four-poster beds on pinterest, these were made out of wood though. As someone who always wanted a four-poster bed as a teenager (and as an adult!) I thought, this is a great concept – it’s a stripped-back take on the classic four-poster bed to create something far more sleek and chic that won’t overwhelm your bedroom, and will complement most modern and contemporary décor.
If we could make them out of steel to make them sturdier, have them in all sizes and in classic black and white finishes, they would be accessible to a wide range of people both adults and kids alike.’
Fast forward a few months and our trusted manufacturer of metal beds provided us with our Chalfont four-poster! We have been overwhelmed with the response from our customers, and it has been a joy to see all your amazing bedrooms with this bed.
Below are a couple of our wonderful customers with their beautiful bedrooms featuring the Chalfont bed frame. This bed comes in both black and white, and honestly after seeing what you guys come up with, we cannot decide which is nicer!

@_charlieshome Now normally, if someone had said all white bedroom to us, we would be a bit skeptical – then we saw charlies bedroom and fell instantly in love. It looks so luxurious and angelic!
Charlie said: ‘It was really important for me to ensure my bedroom was a place to escape to after a day of working from home. When it comes to bedroom styling, my ultimate aim is for the room to be light, airy and relaxing. My followers have described it as ‘Zen’ which I think sums it up perfectly.
The white Chalfont Four Poster is a stunning piece of furniture and it really brought the whole room together for me when it came to the design process. Most of my inspiration comes from Instagram. I enjoy picking out certain designs aspects and piecing them togetherto fit with my aesthetic. I love clean lies and a simple pallete. The bed fits in with that flawlessly.’

Lulu’s beautiful bedroom feels more like a 5 star holiday getaway than your average bedroom! Great use of contrast with the dark wall and white bed frame!
Lisa says: ‘ When decorating the spare bedroom I wanted something modern but with some rustic elements thrown in. I have always wanted a four-poster bed but not the old traditional style. The Chalfont bed is stylish and modern and I wanted it to be the focal point of the room, so I painted the feature wall charcoal grey to make the bed stand out. I am really happy with the ed result. Now we just need some guests!’

James said: ‘Creating a relaxing feel in our bedroom was essential. We started with out new four-poster bed and monochrome background colour scheme. Using a mix of feminine and simplistic floral print, natural materials such as jute and wicker and accents of sage green, we softened the monochrome background to get a balance of masculine yet luxurious. Finishing off the bed by dressing with the white voile curtains has given it a completely different feel and it’s been hugely popular!’

Becky says: ‘I have nothing but great words to say about the bed, my followers ask me every week about the sturdiness of the bed, its really well made. I think a lot of people are skeptical because the price is so affordable compared to other beds like this on the market! My influences for home décor are Scandinavian, monochrome with a slightly industrial twist, which si why the metal bed frame fit’s in perfectly with our home as it matches a lot of the other décor I have, and it’s definitely one of our most asked about pieces.'
